HARTFORD — Today, at a meeting in Bloomfield, the Connecticut Teamsters announced their endorsement of Chris Murphy for re-election to the U.S. Senate. The Teamsters represent working men and women in a variety of sectors across Connecticut.

“Chris has always been there for us. His door is always open. It’s refreshing to have someone like Chris in DC working for us. He’s not afraid to speak up and do the right thing,” said Rocco Calo, Principal Officer of Teamster’s Local 1150 Union.

“I’m really proud to receive the endorsement of the Teamsters. Teamsters represent so many hard-working men and women across Connecticut–from workers at Sikorsky to health care providers and transportation workers. Every day, I’m fighting for them in Congress,” said Murphy.
